The owner of this beautiful property acquired it in 2013 as his dream property. Due to his job, hehad to relocate and rent it, however, it was his intention to return in the future and be able to share it with his family and friends. The house is very well maintained and the design request was exclusively for exterior improvements and a small pool incorporation. Having historical qualities, this design required consultation and approval by the Institute of Puerto Rican Culture.

The design was developed with a contemporary appearance by its orthogonal lines and minimal semi-underground pool. The design, along with exposed concrete as the main material to be used, does not allow it to compete with the historical aspects of the residence.​​
