DLT Dermatology

Bayamón, PR - 2024

Located in a medical office building, the layout of Dr. Eneida De La Torre’s dermatology office was design with three main items into consideration: functionality, privacy and staff/patients’ wellbeing. The design separates the entrance from the exit to ensure a smooth flow and after-treatment privacy, while the clinical rooms are positioned across from the reception area to make the most of the natural light from the windows.

Soft, curved partitions guide the flow of the space and help create a calm atmosphere. Given that many patients visit the office for skin conditions that can have both physical and emotional impacts, the goal was to create a space that feels peaceful and relaxing. Neutral tones, subtle curves, and touches of white oak wood in key elements, all contribute to the environment. Lighting was also chosen to enhance this tranquil feeling in the recepction and corridor areas, whithout creating a harsh transition to the clinical or esthetic rooms.
